"At 2:27 p.m., a dangerous snow squall was located along a line from over East Palestine to over Coraopolis, or along a line from over East Palestine to near Franklin Park, moving east at 40 mph," according to the weather service. "Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes."
The warning was in place for Olympics. "The heavy snowfall and gusty winds will continue to decrease throughout the day," states the NWS Seattle WA. The warning is in effect until noon.
On Friday at 10:29 p.m. a snow squall warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 11:30 p.m. for Clinton, Franklin and St. Lawrence counties.
The National Weather Service issued an updated snow squall warning at 5:33 p.m. on Friday in effect until 6:30 p.m. for Centre and Clearfield counties.
